What's our story?

I can't believe I'm finally doing this! I've been passionate about travel for a long time. Ever since I was a kid, traveling with my parents either to the mountains to go hiking in the Sequoias among the California Redwoods to skiing in Utah at Alta Ski Resort, there wasn't much that excited me more than travel. There has always been something about the drive to a new place or walking on that plane knowing that when I arrived at the destination there would be a whole new collection of sites, sounds, and smells to take in. It's something that's been instilled in me by my parents and something I've tried to pass along to my own family.

So a little about me. I'm a married father of two finding my way through a house of hormones. My name's Josh and I've been married to my beautiful wife Shelly for over 20 years. We have two girls, Madelyn who's going to college overseas working on a degree in International Business Management and Elayna, a Junior in high school who's still figuring out what she wants to do next. We're a (far from normal) family of four that often find ourselves more like a group of friends traveling all over the US, Europe, and Asia finding adventures wherever we can.

The stories told here will include those from trips we've taken in the past and hopefully many more to come in the future. I truly hope you enjoy our adventures as much as we have.
